Binance Labs Launches 2025 Investment Guidance

A look back at Binance Labs 2024

Binance Labs has had a year of active activity despite market conditions, creating tremendous influence that is not inferior to any other investment fund in the market.

The impressive numbers this investment fund achieved in 2024:

• A total of 46 projects were invested, of which 14 were BNB Chain's MVB program.
• 32 projects are direct investments, the projects are invested over the entire year 2024.
• Distribute evenly between the two groups Application and Infrastructure in a 50:50 ratio.

• Other new ecosystems also received attention: Berachain, Monad, Initia, Stacks, Celestia and Bittensor.

Binance Labs Investment Results:

• 17 projects (34%) have issued tokens, including projects invested before or after listing on Binance. This rate is quite good, giving the possibility of quick payback for investors following Binance.
• And 65% of the projects that have issued tokens are listed on the Binance exchange, indicating strong support from Binance Labs.

Most of the projects invested by Binace Labs after going public have a market capitalization of more than $1 billion, with the exception of a few Gaming projects that fall short of expectations. This, despite the good performance of Binance Labs, has also contributed to the wave of high valuations despite low float, high FDV.

However, projects invested by Binance Labs usually do not publish a funding valuation, so it is difficult to capture the specific performance of this investment fund in each deal.

Deciding to change the brand

Earlier, Binance Labs announced that it would operate separately from the Binance exchange to avoid potential legal risks. However, the name Binance Labs still reminds many people of the Binance exchange. In the near future, Binance Labs will rebrand the entire brand and will no longer be affiliated with Binance.

Investment orientation in 2025

Binance Labs highlights the key points of interest in 2025 include:

• Interference projects of the above 3 groups

In addition, Binance Labs predicts that project teams with poor performance in 2024 such as Gaming, ZK technology, security solutions can recover as they move from the development phase to the product release phase.

Well-received narratives such as DesCI, RWA, AI Agent are also predicted to continue to maintain strong growth momentum.

Binance Labs will not only invest in projects in the private round (primary market), but will expand to OTC investments, secondary markets and be open to all stages of investment.

The investment fund will also always prioritize projects with practical applications, strong teams, clear roadmaps and sustainable revenue sources that can survive through multiple stages of the market.

2025 is also the time when Binance Labs welcomes the return of Co-Founder CZ, which promises to be an important starting point for the future direction of the fund.
