CZ shares pet dog name, BNB Chain's Launchpad memento collapses

Soon after CZ's pet dog, former Binance CEO was revealed, there were hundreds of memencoins created on both Solana and BNB Chain, not the least of which was a rug pull aimed at recouping nefarious profits.
As promised when it would post its dog on the morning of February 13, CZ Binance posted an image of the dog named Broccoli at 23:12 on the same day in Vietnamese time. Immediately, the memenoin ecosystem on Solana and BNB Chain went into chaos as hundreds of tokens with the ticker “BROCCOLI” were deployed in just a few minutes.

According to the latest post on X (Twitter), CZ revealed that Broccoli, a Belgian Malinois dog, came to him unexpectedly. More than a year and a half ago, during a conversation with his friend who owns a zoo in Dubai, CZ curiously asked about the breed that adapts well to the hot climate.
He had no intention of having a dog, but that evening a Belgian Malinois showed up at his door, carrying a passport, a surprise gift from his friend.
“If you asked me before last night, I never thought that Broccoli would become part of the blockchain ecosystem. But this is crypto, and no day is boring.”
On BNB Chain, the Four.Meme platform, which supports memenoin on this blockchain, temporarily experienced an overload problem and became inaccessible. Meanwhile, on Solana, hundreds of tokens with the ticker “BROCCOLI” appeared, attracting the attention of the memenoin traders, creating an unprecedented fomo wave.
This move clearly reflects the enormous influence CZ Binance has on the crypto community, especially in the memenoin ecosystem. Previously, just one tweet mentioning the TST token caused the memento system on BNB Chain to explode. Now, with CZ officially posting Broccoli photos, the community has all the more reason to believe that a new memenoin craze is forming on BNB Chain and Solana.

He also said that it will be possible to interact with some of the popular memoins on BNB Chain, making the community even more excited.
Although most of the “BROCCOLI” tokens that appeared today quickly disappeared, the BNB Foundation is still discussing liquidity support (LP) programs for memento coins on the BNB Chain. If an authentic “BROCCOLI” project emerges and is responded to by the community, it could become a true memenoin symbol on this ecosystem.
However, with the rampant rug pull during the past fomo, can traders still count on similar pumps in the future? For now, all eyes are on the market, waiting to see if Broccoli will be just a short-term craze or will actually spark a long-term memento trend.
