Scatter is one of the largest Milady-related NFT buying, selling, and generating platforms on the market today. So how will the CEO's resignation affect the project?
Haiku, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Scatter, announced his resignation on 01/01/2025, ending his leadership role at the management company specializing in the development of Milady themed NFT collections.
In a post on X, Haiku said Scatter has become a sustainable platform with a stable position and they need to focus on other projects.
Scatter is a platform that supports artists and creators to issue, create, buy, and sell NFTs across multiple blockchains such as Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, and Blast.
This platform contributed to the launch of many collections inspired by Milady, expanding the range of influence of derivatives from this collection. According to Haiku, Scatter will continue to maintain the orientation of putting artists first.
Haiku joined Scatter since 2021 as an advisor before becoming CEO. Although no longer involved in day-to-day operations, Haiku will serve as a small advisor to assist when needed. They also said they had not received salaries in recent years to secure resources for the development team.
The platform has supported the launch of many collections of NFTs inspired by Milady, including:
- Milady of the Future: The collection includes 8,765 unique NFTs, celebrating the elegance and forward-thinking spirit of the Milady community.
- MilaIdys: A collection of 1,000 NFT profile images created by artificial intelligence, inspired by Remilia Collective's original Milady NFT project, but not directly affiliated with that project.
- Milady Maker Party:The collection of 3,000 Milady Maker NFTs is creatively remixed, aiming to gamify the creation and distribution of assets in the Remilia ecosystem.
- Ghiblady Husbandr: Collection of 10,000 avatar NFTs created by AI, inspired by Milady, Pixelady and other related projects.
In addition, Scatter supports many other collections in the Milady community, such as Rorita Maker, with 1,989 NFTs available, allowing each Milady owner and mint friend one NFT per wallet for free.
After Haiku left, a collaborator nicknamed “Three” took over as the new COO. Haiku considers Three to be a good leader, experienced and has made a positive contribution to Scatter during his time here. Under Three's leadership, Scatter is expected to continue to grow.
For now, Haiku redirects its focus to the Oekaki Connect project, a collaborative platform for digital artists in the web3 and NFT space, including collections such as Kemonokaki. This project aims to foster collaboration and creativity in the artist community.
