How does the Starship Liquidity Program work and what benefits does it bring to users?
On December 28, Starship, the platform that supports the issuance of tokens, announced the Starship Liquidity Program (SLP). This program was born to solve the liquidity problem of Fan Cards that are attracting users on the platform.
The Starship Fan Card is a digital collectible card issued by Starship that allows fans to own and trade, and receive exclusive rewards and benefits from their favorite crypto projects. Starship has launched Fan Cards for several projects: SA World, Anzen, Ivy, Ostro...
Recently, the Starship Fan Card has become more and more widely used by the community, causing the need to exchange cards among members. However, the purchase and exchange of cards is experiencing certain difficulties.
The Starship Fan Card works as an NFT (non-replaceable token), so there are two main differences from conventional cryptocurrencies:
- Uniqueness: Each Fan Card is a unique version in the collection, with different vesting terms and allocation amounts.
- Low Liquidity:Due to its unique nature, Fan Card transactions can be slow, users have to wait longer to complete the transaction.
To solve this problem and provide a better user experience, the Starship platform launched the Starship Liquidity Program. The program gives users faster access to capital, has more flexible options, and better control over their fan tokens through the provision of active liquidity on NFT Marketplace Dagora.
In order to improve Fan Card liquidity and protect the interests of its holders, Starship has developed the Starship Liquidity Program (SLP) with an advanced pricing and bidding model. This model will analyze the dynamics of each NFT against the share price of the collection, thereby offering a more efficient trading solution and meeting the needs and benefits of each collection.
Through SLP, Starship is working to address user issues of concern and toward building a reliable and robust community token issuance platform.
SLP will work based on each collection and each Fan Card version. The program considers and analyzes the following factors:
- Price Fluctuations of Different Fan Card Collections/Versions
- Effect of price fluctuations on collections/editions
- Market Volatility
- Basic cost of capital
Starship will update information on how the program accesses each Fan Card collection and version as the above factors change. The ultimate goal of SLP is to improve liquidity for Fan Cards, creating a stable and flexible trading market for the community.
The SA World Fan Card will be the first card to apply the SLP program, details:
- Timing: From Monday, December 30, 2024 until SA World officially issues tokens (exact time announced by SA World).
- Platforms:Dagora NFT Marketplace.
- Method: Liquidity will be provided at 150% of the C98 that users have committed to purchase on Starship. SLP will replace the mechanism SAE Starship Insurance Fund (SIF)before.
- The collection is applied: All SA World Fan Card versions (starship round, whitelist round, public round).
